Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to AlphaGrid (the “Service”). By subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this policy.

1. Subscription Model

AlphaGrid offers Premium subscriptions on Monthly (30 days), 3-Month (90 days), 6-Month (180 days), and 12-Month (365 days) plans. All subscriptions are prepaid and non-auto-renewing. Access begins immediately upon successful payment and ends at the conclusion of the plan term.

2. 7-Day Refund Window

If you purchased a Premium plan and are unsatisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase, provided:

  • This is your first paid plan on AlphaGrid.
  • You have used the Service in good faith and not to extract bulk data or violate our Terms.
  • The refund request is submitted via email to support@alpha-grid.in with your account email and a brief reason.

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days back to the original payment method.

3. After 7 Days — Renewals & Subsequent Purchases

Refunds are not available after 7 days of initial purchase, for renewal purchases, or for second-and-subsequent paid plans on the same account. We recommend trying the Monthly plan first to evaluate the Service before committing to longer terms.

4. Cancellation

Because subscriptions do not auto-renew, there is nothing to “cancel” — your access simply ends at the plan’s expiry date if you choose not to renew. You can stop using the Service at any time without further action or charge.

5. Pro-Rated Refunds

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a plan beyond the 7-day window. If you stop using the Service mid-plan, no partial refund will be issued.

6. Service Issues & Outages

If the Service is materially unavailable due to our fault for more than 72 consecutive hours, you may request a pro-rated credit (extension of your plan term) by emailing support. This does not apply to outages caused by upstream providers (Zerodha Kite, Firebase, etc.), scheduled maintenance, or factors outside our reasonable control.

7. Account Suspension or Ban

If your account is suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., abusive content, market manipulation, fraud), no refund will be issued for the remaining plan period.

8. Failed or Disputed Payments

If a payment is declined, reversed, or charged back via your bank, your Premium access will be revoked immediately. We reserve the right to investigate fraudulent chargebacks and may pursue recovery.

9. How to Request a Refund

Email support@alpha-grid.in from the email address registered to your AlphaGrid account. Include:

  • Your account email
  • Date of purchase
  • Razorpay Payment ID (visible in your purchase confirmation email)
  • Brief reason for the refund request

We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method within 5-7 business days; the actual time credit appears in your statement depends on your bank.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. Changes apply only to purchases made after the update date. Your historical purchases are governed by the policy in effect at the time of purchase.

Try before you commit: If you’re unsure, start with the Monthly plan (₹199). You can test all Premium features for 30 days, then upgrade to a longer plan if it’s working for you.
